Artisan Xeranthia is a winery within the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Denomination of Origin, specializing in the aging of Sherry wines. This endeavor is committed to honoring the value of the vineyard, artisanal processes, and quality, ensuring excellence throughout all our operations.
We are a growing winery with rigorous self-imposed standards. While our wines age, we meticulously oversee each stage with an unwavering dedication to ensure their utmost potential—the pinnacle of quality and aging.
Moreover, we perform cask seasoning in various oak types with premium Sherry wines, guaranteeing substantial added value to spirits, particularly for numerous whisky brands and other spirits across multiple countries.
At our winery, we foster an optimal environment for wine aging
Our facilities span 1,150 square meters and are in the western part of the city of Jerez. We have two warehouses, built in the 1970s. One was a stockist winery (collectively known as “almacenistas”) until 2006.
They are part of winery facilities built in the city during the mid-20th century to expand and externalize the wine industry within the urban core. Its architectural design fosters an ideal environment for wine aging, maintaining mild temperatures and high humidity. Tall ceilings, brick, and tile roofs to deter heat, openings on the western walls to ingress cool, humid west winds, and walls devoid of openings on the eastern side to block dry, warm Levant winds.
